The Trans Pride Flag was designed by Monica Helms in 1999. It consists of five equally wide horizontal stripes. Starting at the top and bottom, there is one stripe each in light blue and light pink. The center stripe is white.
The light blue represents masculinity and the light pink femininity. The white stripe in the middle symbolizes people who are non-binary, intersex, or in transition.
