The classic rainbow flag consists of the six colors for the LGBTQIA+ community, but over time it has been expanded to represent even more people. First, black and brown were added to emphasize the rights and representation of people of color , then the colors blue, pink, and white for the transgender community. Finally, in 2021, activist Valentino Vecchietti added the yellow triangle with the purple circle to include intersex people.
