On August 23, 2025, PrideMerch.de By Team Behinderte once again showed what inclusive teamwork can achieve! Our sales booth at CSD Bremen was a resounding success – amidst 29,000 visitors, we not only sold great merchandise but, more importantly, lived our mission: actively integrating queer people with disabilities into the Pride community and supporting local events. We are incredibly proud of our team and are really looking forward to our next adventures!
Our Mission: Inclusion, Support, and Direct Participation ❤️
PrideMerch.de By Team Behinderte is much more than a simple online shop or sales booth – we are a platform that gives queer people with disabilities the chance to directly engage with their favorite Pride events. Our goal? To break down barriers and show that every contribution counts!
- Effective Partnerships: Since 2022, we have been working closely with associations such as CSD Bremen, CSD Wesermarsch, CSD Bremerhaven, CSD Verden, Bi Pride Hamburg, CSD Rotenburg, and Aids-Hilfe Bremen e.V. For every Pride merchandise item sold, 10% of the revenue goes directly to the respective partner association. This greatly helps with event financing – a topic that is close to the hearts of many organizing teams and urgently needs support. This way, wishes and plans can become reality!
- Online Shop and Live Presence: In our daily operations, we offer a huge selection of our own and partner items in our online shop – from rainbow flags to T-shirts and accessories. But a few times a year, we pack our bags and are live on-site at selected CSD events. Here's the best part: all team members, with or without disabilities, work hand in hand. It's a true community project that's fun and connects people!
Fostering Talents and Utilizing Strengths – Our Inclusive Concept in Practice ✨
At PrideMerch.de By Team Behinderte, we firmly believe: everyone has talents, and overwhelm can be avoided with clever planning. Just because someone isn't perfect at mental arithmetic doesn't mean they can't shine at the booth! Teamwork is our key to success.
Practical Example: At CSD Bremen, our team member Tim took over the sale of CSD wristbands. He was simply given five wristbands, told the amount he should collect – and everything was correctly accounted for. This worked wonderfully and shows how we adapt tasks to individual strengths. The day was an absolute testament to our cohesion: with so many visitors, even more teamwork was required, and we mastered it!

Through such approaches, we enable queer people with disabilities to actively participate and be proud of their contributions. It's about empowerment: everyone can get involved, whether in sales, preparation, or brainstorming. This way, we build not just merch, but a strong, diverse community!
