New Pride partner organization: CSD Verden eV strengthens the PrideMerch.de offering!

Verden, June 12, 2025 – We at PrideMerch.de By Team Behinderte are proud to welcome another strong partner in our mission for queer visibility and inclusion: the CSD Verden eViGr. At PrideMerch.de, the size of the organization doesn't matter – what matters is passion, exchange, and a shared vision for a more just society.

CSD Verden eV: For an open, solidarity-based region

The newly founded CSD Verden eV has been advocating for queer rights in Verden and the surrounding area since 2024. Through demonstrations, educational projects, and regular queer meetings at the youth center (JUZ), they create safe spaces for self-realization—especially for young people and adults who often lack support in rural areas.

Verden's motto for 2025: "Be loud, be colorful – diversity needs a voice!"

The second Christopher Street Day will take place in Verden on September 13, 2025. But the association wants more than just one day: With their legal structure as an eV (registered association), they secure long-term projects such as educational opportunities, safe spaces against hate, and a stronger queer community in the district.

“We want queer people in Verden to not just exist, but to live – safely, visibly, and with pride.”
– CSD Verden eV

Why PrideMerch.de and the CSD Verden fit together

For our team, the collaboration with CSD Verden eV is more than a partnership: It's proof that inclusion works across the board. Whether it's a large CSD in Berlin or a small club in Verden, we offer personalized support:

  • Merch production & distribution according to the needs of the club
  • 10% of revenue from partner products flows directly into their projects
  • Inclusive employment opportunities for queer people with disabilities (more on this below!)

As with previous collaborations (e.g. with Aids-Hilfe Bremen eV 2022 or Bi+ Pride Hamburg 2024), we will also support CSD Verden eV with expertise, creativity, and solidarity.

PrideMerch.de By Team Behinderte: Inclusion with heart

Our shop is more than an online store—it's a project for self-determination . Since 2022, we have been working with Queer Cities eV to create projects for queer people with disabilities who are often trapped in workshops or performing routine tasks. With us, they can:

  • ✅ Do creative work in the rainbow sector (design, production, sales)
  • ✅ Contribute your skills in an inclusive environment
  • ✅ Become part of a queer-disabled community

This is how it works:

Partner organizations like CSD Verden eV select designs for merchandise (wristbands, T-shirts, posters), which we produce, sell, and ship. PrideMerch bears the risk and expense —the Pride organization benefits from a share of the sales, relieving the burden on its organizing teams.

“PrideMerch.de shows that disability is not an obstacle—it is an enrichment.”
– Thorsten Höller, initiator of Team Disabled

What CSD Verden eV says about the collaboration:

"Queer Cities, with its PrideMerch.de By Team Behinderte project, is more than a partner—they are pioneers for lived inclusion and international queer solidarity. Thank you for your vision, your patience, and your openness!"

– Shay Heemsoth-Ohlmeier - CSD Verden eV
